Philips Dreamstation Filters
There are two Philips DreamStation filters—a reusable, washable pollen filter for large particles and an optional, disposable fine filter for smaller particles. Using both together provides the cleanest possible air : the coarse filter captures larger debris, while the fine filter captures smaller allergens and dust.
- Function: Filters large particles like dust and pollen.
- Lifespan: Replace the entire filter every six months.
Maintenance: Rinse it under warm tap water every two weeks to remove debris. Shake off excess water and let it air dry completely before reinserting.
Optional disposable fine filter
- Function: Filters very fine particles and allergens.
- Lifespan: Replace after about 30 nights of use, or sooner if it looks dirty or clogs.
Maintenance: This filter cannot be washed and should be discarded when it's time for a replacement.
To use both filters together, the disposable fine filter is typically snapped onto or inserted into the reusable pollen filter frame before both are inserted into the machine.
