How to Find Your ResMed CPAP Mask Size
How to Determine the Right ResMed CPAP Mask Size
1️⃣ Download the Mask Fitting Template
- Go to the specific mask page and download the fitting template PDF.
- Important: When printing, choose Actual size or 100 % scale (do not select “Fit to page”).
2️⃣ Cut Out the Template
- Use scissors to cut along the dotted lines so the template matches the cushion outline exactly.
3️⃣ Measure on Your Face
- Stand in front of a mirror or ask someone to help.
- Hold the template gently against your nose and mouth (for full-face) or nose only (for nasal/pillow).
- The correct size is the one that fully covers the area without gaps but doesn’t extend too far.

Tips for Best Fit
- If you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller: it’s easier to achieve a leak-free seal.
- Check your mask fit regularly. Facial changes (weight, facial hair, etc.) can mean a different size later.
- Replace mask cushions on schedule (often every 1–3 months) to maintain a good seal.

Is Your Mask Leaking or Feeling Uncomfortable?
Air leaks or discomfort often mean your headgear needs a quick readjustment. Make sure it’s snug, not tight.
If the mask has never felt right or leaks persist despite adjustments, you might need a different size or style.

ALWAYS READ THE LABEL AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE. You should speak to your doctor about your symptoms and whether a CPAP device is suitable for you
